Audrey Breshears started her writing career mid-life. She is a registered nurse, a licensed contractor, a ham radio operator and amateur photographer. Breshears and husband Danny spend a good deal of time at their cabin in the Ouachita Mountains of Central Arkansas.

Peaceful and timeless Arkansas.

You will smell the ancient forest and hear the water tumbling timelessly through the rocks, within 10 pages of opening this charmer. Audrey Breshears tells of a life far away from traffic, trains, and video games. Audrey has a quiet, personal, manner in telling a story. This book is as warm and irresistible as a fireplace on a chilly night with your closest friends.

An enjoyable read!

Enjoyed the book. Live fairly near this area and travel through there regularly. And know Connie at the store. She is my husband's cousin. Loved the history of that area, which was unknown to me. A lot of history of the earlier times and the way people lived then. Enjoyable!
