About the Author
Usha Goswami is Professor of Education at the University of Cambridge and a Fellow of St John’s College, Cambridge. She is also Director of the Faculty’s Centre for Neuroscience in Education. Prior to moving back to Cambridge in 2003, she was Professor of Cognitive Developmental Psychology at the Institute of Child Health, University College London 1997 - 2003, and before that, she was University Lecturer in Experimental Psychology at the University of Cambridge, 1990-1997.

WONDERFUL development textbook

WONDERFUL development textbook. I have gone back to this book MANY MANY times in my own research years after the class was over. It is not only great for class, but the emphasis on understanding the scientific methodologies that contribute to consensus are pedagogically solid and make for good later reference. This is one book I will never resell.

great book!

the book is very informative and well-formed in terms of cognitive development content. however, i did not use my copy during my semester (graduate course on Cognitive Development) and tried to return it to Amazon, but the buy-back price was less than 1/3 of what i originally paid. i ended up keeping it. if you buy it, make sure to get good use out of it.

Good Textbook

This a good textbook. This book has a lot of past research studies. Sometime the concepts are hard to understand and so I have to slowed down on reading and really read it carefully.
